We are a family run independent jewellers shop, established in 1970.
We are located in the heart of the historic town centre of Whitehaven. Whitehaven was once the fourth largest port in the country and is situated on the beautiful western Lake District coast.
Expertise
Helen Dixon has the National Association of Jewellers Professional Jewellers Diploma and Gemstone Diploma, both passed with distinction, and has recently passed their Certificate of Appraisal Theory examination, which is the industry leading academic qualification for carrying out jewellery valuations.

We offer a range of supporting services to compliment your purchases:
- Jewellery Repairs
Our repair team can carry out all practical repairs to your jewellery, from simple chain repairs and ring resizing to replacing missing gemstones, pearl restringing and complete remakes of old or damaged pieces. Free, no obligation quotes are available on request
- Watch Repairs
We fit batteries and straps to watches and can alter watch strap lengths, as well as fit replacement glasses and movements to some watches. We carry out repairs to the majority of battery operated watches.
- Bespoke Design Service
Got an unusual request, can’t find exactly what you’re looking for? Our bespoke design service could be the answer to your problems.
- Engraving
We can engrave on Silver, Gold, Silver Plate, Pewter & most other metals.
- Valuations
We offer a valuation service, prices start from £60 and are now done on the premises, so you have no worries about the safety of your precious items.
- Trophies
We supply Trophies and associated products and can offer volume discounts, call into the shop for details.
